The workshops and lectures will be on Bulgarian folk music and culture.\r\n🌙 During the evenings, we'll have dance parties and jam sessions which will fuse Bulgarian folk and balfolk - thus the name, SOFIA (bal)FOLK WEEKEND 😉.\r\nSome of the program participants:\r\nIsabel Socol-Oxman - Gadulka and Fiddle\r\nKiril Belezkov - Kaval\r\nDilyana Kurdova - Dancing, Lecture\r\nDimo Slavchev - Dancing\r\nVelizara Karaivanova - Singing\r\nand more...\r\nIn this form you can select the workshops you want to attend - select as many as you like. We will finalize the program according to the group.\r\nThe evening events will be open to locals with separate tickets - we'll release the tickets some time in advance. In this way you'll also have the opportunity to meet local music enthusiasts.\r\n👀 Stay tuned for additional information - evening program, surprise guests, the last day cultural trip!\r\n💸 PRICING: To make the event as accessible as possible for everyone, and still feasible for us to organize, we're giving you the option to choose on a sliding scale from 90 to 200 EUR. WHY? We believe that culture and learning should be accessible to everyone, and we count on our community to make this happen. So, we invite you to select your fee according to your income. After you register you will receive an email with bank details to transfer the fee.\r\n🏡 ACCOMMODATION: We will also send you a list of hostels to make your research easier. If you need support with finding accommodation, let us know!\r\n🎶 VENUE: We'll be hosted by the wonderful restaurant/bar HOM's (House of Music): Ariana Lake, Borisova Gradina, Evlogi i Hristo Georgiev Blvd 3, 1164 Sofia. When searching for accommodation, check the public transportation connections - google maps works well enough in Sofia!\r\n🥗🍷 FOOD AND DRINKS: Regarding food, you'll have one lunch and dinner option at our venue, HOM's, for a discounted rate. You can additionally order food and drinks from the regular menu.\r\n#️⃣ NUMBER OF PARTICIPANTS: We want to have a cozy and productive learning environment for the workshops, so we imagine a maximum of 25 participants.
