This year’s New York Playford Ball’s emcees, Paul Ross and Daniel Popowich, are delighted to invite you to an evening of outstanding music and an enticing program nicely balanced between modern and historical selections. This year being the 50th anniversary of Pat Shaw’s visit to the US, we are particularly pleased to note the inclusion of three of Pat’s classics: Miss de Jersey’s Memorial, Mr Ganiford’s Maggot, and Long Pond. Music by Cynthia Shaw, piano; Eric Martin, violin and viola; and Gene Murrow, concertina and recorders, will lift our spirits and enliven our steps.
