Mara tritt seit 2013 mit verschiedenen Folkbands wie Stimmt so., Searching the Roots, Lunesk und Knopfgemurmel bei Konzerten und Festivals auf. In ihrem neuen Soloset spielt sie ihre Lieblingsstücke – ein wunderschöner Mix aus selbstgeschriebenen und adaptierten Stücken. Tanzworkshop „Walzer spezial“

„Man könnte sich vorstellen, dass die Musik eine Geschichte erzählt und das tanzende Paar zwei Künstle*Innen sind, die diese Geschichte auf dieselbe Leinwand malen.“
Du liebst Walzer und willst noch mehr davon tanzen, noch schneller, noch runder, noch flüssiger – ohne Kollision?
Dich interessiert, wie man eigentlich beim 5er Walzer das Austanzen der Schritte mit dem „lazy“- Schritt kombiniert?
In diesem Workshop wird Line mit einer Speed-Einführung als Erinnerung beginnen, so dass im Anschluss den Themen Schwung und Geschwindigkeit, Achtsamkeit im Raum und Schrittvariationen im 5er Walzer Platz gegeben wird.
Der Workshop richtet sich an Personen, die bereits Valse tanzen und sich weiterentwickeln möchten, sowie Menschen ohne Vorkenntnisse, die sehr geübt darin sind, neue Schritte zu erfassen.
Über Line:
Ich war immer in Bewegung, daher habe ich meine Wurzeln im Modern Dance, Tango und Contact, aber vor allem: im Balfolk. Es ist mein Zuhause, seit ich 12 Jahre alt bin, und jetzt genieße ich es, Balfolk in ganz Europa zu tanzen. In den Kursen wechsle ich immer die Rollen, um zu verstehen, wie das Tanzen aus verschiedenen Positionen funktioniert. Außerdem bin ich überzeugt davon, dass Tanzen auch politisch ist, so dass ein Rollenwechsel uns auch erlaubt, zu lernen, was es bedeutet, für mehr als nur mich selbst verantwortlich zu sein, die Kontrolle abzugeben und sich an jemand anderen anzupassen.

Over de Dansuitleg

In deze dansuitleg komen de basisprincipes van balfolk aan bod zodat iedereen mee kan doen.
De dansuitleg door Isobel Priest zal in het Engels zijn, met Nederlandse ondersteuning waar nodig.

Wat is Balfolk?

Balfolk is misschien een beetje te vergelijken met een tango- of salsa-avond, maar dan met de muziek en dansen van hier: de dansen en muziek die traditioneel in West-Europa voorkomen. En er is altijd live muziek!

We starten altijd met een dansuitleg. Iedereen kan mee doen.

Over Duo l'Hêtre Heureux:

Olivier Valence, gitaar en zang, Léo Proulx, klarinet, zang en percussie, brachten hun talent samen voor het open podium op het Grand Bal de l'Europe in Gennetines.

Le Duo l'Hêtre Heureux is een ontmoeting tussen twee muzikanten met passie voor Europese volksdansen.

Sinds 2019 droomt, creëert en test de band hun creaties met de dansers uit Frankrijk, Italië, Zwitserland, Spanje, België, Nederland en Duitsland.

Auteurs, componisten en performers, sinds 2022 geven zij ook workshops op festivals.
