    details: "The Monadnock Folklore Society presents the Peterborough, NH First Saturday Contra Dance on the first Saturday with different musicians and callers every month.  \nThe dancing begins at 8:00 PM, with an introductory workshop beginning at 7:30. Sliding scale admission is  $12 – 20. \nWe also host an open jam session for beginning and intermediate musicians from 6:45 – 7:30 PM. \nThe Monadnock Folklore Society has presented contra dances and concerts of traditional music since 1982."
