    details: "The Sebastopol 5th Sunday dance is a chance for our callers, dancers and musicians to enjoy an afternoon of challenging material and streamlined teaching. We expect dancers attending these sessions to be completely comfortable with heys for 3 and 4, dolphin heys, double figure 8s, and triple minor progression. They should also be able to maintain their sense of orientation within the set. This is not the time to bring your friends who are new to English country dancing, though we’d love to see them at the 1st and 3rd Sundays. \nNote: We occasionally change our venue or time to accommodate special events, so please check the NBCDS calendar to confirm."

    details: "You are invited to an English Country Dance workshop and social dance with nationally known caller and former CDSS president Bruce Hamilton. \nMr. Hamilton uses his broad experience in many dance forms and clear teaching style to craft innovative and thoughtful classes. He has become a popular weekend and dance camp teacher because his dancers always leave with a deeper enjoyment of the dance by becoming more mindful of the music, their fellow dancers, and the motion of their own bodies. \nLively music is once again being provided by Janet Muse and Mike Dunn, known for their recording of waltzes entitled ’Sunday in Greenwood.’ \nThe Workshop is sponsored jointly by the Williamsburg Heritage Dancers and the Colonial Dance Club of Richmond, with support from Henrico County Parks and Rec. The afternoon workshop runs from 1:30-4:30 pm and the evening social dance from 6:30-9:30pm. \nPre-registration is required; please refer to the website for details."
